AT Nolan & Dynamic FM Give Back to Stockport Primary Schools with Free Labour Following Fire and Security Upgrades
Following the completion of fire and security alarm projects at two Stockport primary schools, AT Nolan & Dynamc DM offered six hours of free labour to each as part of our ongoing commitment to social value — helping both schools tackle jobs that their stretched budgets would otherwise struggle to cover.
Ladybrook Primary School
On 29th October 2025, one of our team attended Ladybrook Primary School to carry out a range of general maintenance tasks identified by the school. Works included soaking and scraping off old wallpaper, filling holes in the hall and allowing time for the filler to dry, painting to match the existing decor, cutting and fixing plywood to the bottom of boxing in, and a further coat of matching paint. The site was left fully cleaned, with all debris cleared and carpets hoovered before handover.

Ladybridge Primary School
During the October half term, we also provided an electrician to Ladybridge Primary School, who had likewise benefited from a fire and security upgrade. A fixed wire test had identified a number of C2 (potentially dangerous) issues requiring remedial attention, and our electrician carried out the necessary works to resolve them during the visit.
The school’s response summed up the value of the initiative best, with a member of staff getting in touch to say:
“I would like to extend my sincere thanks, along with those of the headteacher, for this. Given our school’s incredibly stretched budget, every saving we make has a significant and positive impact.”
Supporting the Communities We Work In
Both visits reflect our wider approach to social value — looking beyond the scope of a contract to find practical ways of supporting the schools, care settings, and community organisations we work alongside. For two schools already managing tight budgets, six hours of free skilled labour each made a real difference, and it’s exactly the kind of impact we hope to keep delivering as we carry out fire and security projects across the region.
