AT Nolan Supports TfGM in Unveiling One of the UK’s Largest Recycled Murals at Stockport Interchange
AT Nolan was proud to support Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) on Saturday as the UK’s second-largest recycled mural was officially unveiled at Stockport Interchange. The striking installation—created entirely from recycled plastic bottle tops—has been designed to celebrate community creativity and promote sustainable living across Greater Manchester.
Working closely with TfGM and the commissioned artist, AT Nolan played a key role in the installation of the mural ahead of the public reveal. Our team provided hands-on support throughout the day, ensuring the artwork was safely and securely installed while maintaining full compliance with TfGM’s operational standards.

On the day of the unveiling, our engineers were on site from start to finish to welcome members of the public and media, assist the artist, and help manage public safety. With large crowds and significant press interest, our focus was on ensuring the event ran safely and smoothly for everyone involved.
